G
iven the recent war between Iraq and U.S., people of different races all over the world are increasingly concerned to express their opposition towards war. Peace campaigns of various scales have been launched all over the world to spread the word of "Peace No War". Indeed, war has created a lot of dismay and destruction in history, we strongly believe that every person in the world now realizes the importance of peace and nobody wants war.
We, BMA Entertainment Group, truly support the nature of these campaigns and are deeply concerned to spread the word of peace to every person in the world. Hence we have an idea to "create" a "new theme song" for peace campaigns conducted in Southeast Asia. We have produced the song name "Peace No War" (English) & "¾Ôª§¤£¬Oµª®×" (mandarin), which is composed by Ms. Ding Fei Fei (a famous talented composer artiste in Asia), written by Ms. Canny Leung ( a top tier lyricist in Hong Kong) and performed by Jade Kwan (Ãö¤ß§°).
The song will be broadcast in Southeast Asia, places include Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, China & Taiwan etc through MTV Asia. And we have designed a new "peace" logo for this campaign and we are going to print thousands T-shirt and badges with this logo. The badges will deliever to TVB press crews in Iraq and the guests of our premiere launching ceremony. And the T-shirts will be given to the public.
The details of the event:
Date: 11th April 2003
Time: 6:00 pm
Venue: Harbour City, near 5 flag pole
Invited guest: Jade KwanÃö¤ß§°(artiste, the singer of the anti-war song),

Boycott of American Goods Over Iraq War Gains  25.3.2003

For many years the US has been leading obstructive policies for the UN disarmament treaties banning Weapons of Mass Destruction. Check latest votes in UN General Assembly (autum 2002) http://disarm.igc.org/DT-2002-4.pdf See votes (pages 4 - 5)
We ask that:
- US ratifies the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty (CTBT). The US was the only nation voting against the CTBT in 2002. http://www.ctbto.org/
-US stops opposition against the Convention Banning Nuclear Weapons. Also the 10.600 US nuclear warheads are illegal and need to be disarmed. http://www.lcnp.org/mnwc/
-US implements the treaties for Biological and Chemical Weapons and stops all their research programs
-US accepts the rules of the International Criminal Court as any other nation, and abolishes all bilateral agreements

Add your voice against war in Iraq now!
As debate in the UN Security Council intensifies, world opinion and pressure against military action must be maintained and strenthened. The World Council of Churches encourages people of faith around the world to join together in support of an international church leaders' declaration against war in Iraq. The declaration can be signed on-line at
http://www2.wcc-coe.org/signatures.nsf/iraq-e.
The WCC will use the support generated in ongoing communication and advocacy efforts, for instance with the UN Security Council members.
We encourage you to redistribute this message and to invite people to join the campaign. Thank you.
